I have (almost) done the following:
005. Regain confidence driving
My brother had rather too much whisky in the early hours of this morning to risk driving, so I most generously offered to drive his car home. He has a rather nice BMW. Oh yes. I am cured. Quite lovely, nice and solid on the road, and most importantly, the besotted owner of the car sat quite calmly as I drove it. Drove through heavy rain and was way too impressed by the rain sensitive wipers (I always knew I'd love that) to worry about the rain. I then had to get a lift home from me ma, which meant driving her car as I can't take being driven by her. A different experience in a gutty little Polo, but still done without any qualms despite the wind making it almost take off on the Forth Bridge. The idea of driving is now appealing again, even though it's bad, evil and all that, necessary journeys to get to somewhere far-ish away is perfectly acceptable. It is.
022. Pass Dec 08 coursework
This is possibly premature as I've only got the mark for one, but that was the one I was stressing about that I thought was rubbish, and I did quite well! The other one I am confident I will have at least passed, but I guess I can't score it off just in case I had a total nightmare without realising.
050. Make mince pies
I forgot that I put it on the list, I did this the other day. A rather easy one.
061. Attend a wedding
The most wonderful wedding I have ever been to. It helped that the bride is a bubbly and thoroughly nice person, but the whole thing was lavish and tasteful and a lot of fun, with fun and interesting guests and to die for food and drink. The bride is Scottish and the groom English, so it was a very Scottish wedding, in Stirling Castle no less, but extremely well done and enjoyable. Although with the piper display, the Scottish contingent sat and muttered about pipers and tales of pipers bad, while the English leapt up to take photos. Oh, so much drink, champagne and wine and whisky, but upon waking this morning a quick replay established that I was in fact in one piece, eating and walking and stuff was possible, and that I had quite definitely done nothing stupid and that it was other people who'd been the most drunk and ludicrous. And I got to wear my posh red dress, it fitted and everything.
085. Create the santa story
We've done this, we've seen Santa twice, we've written letters and we've established the big threat of no Santa in the face of bad behaviour. Not so great at hiding the presents, I may possibly have blown it before it's even started, but there's a whole lot of tangled lies ready to explain if necessary.
086. Go to a carol service
Well, sort of. The hymns at the weddings were carols, we were in a big chapel, it's pretty much the same. The whole point was to be in a church, feeling Christmassy and singing carols. All done.
And with that little lot done, I can enjoy Christmas now without doing anything useful...

Good going, you got a fair bit done! I am so jealous of the wedding in Stirling Castle - I wanna get married there, now I know you can! hehe.
