CNPS

Well, this is the slowest challenge I've ever done! I started at the beginning of August, and I'm now on the easy run of 50s. I saw 50 yesterday, frustratingly I was in another car and wanted to see MY car as 51. I saw two other 51s and no 52s before I "saw" my car, so I'm sort of thinking it was mine. Whatever. I have now seen 52 and expect to get 53-58 pretty quickly.

But then...

Low numbers seem to be popular for private reg, and things like 33 (very popular, obviously we're all able to interpret that as EE) and other numbers like 40, 66, 77 and so on are relatively common, but the "nothing" numbers like 63 are impossible to spot! Once I get into 3 digits, I'll have to quickly read about half the registrations I see, there's a 1 in 900 chance I see the one I want. Argh.

At least it doesn't take any energy to do. I keep thinking "sod it" when I see nothing for days, weeks, ever, then I see the one I need, do a dance of joy and have renewed enthusiasm.

Trivial pursuits of the saddest type.
